Always a Surprise

I got out of a new subway station the other day to meet my Mandarin teacher, and here’s what I saw:

Yep, I was in the Alps of Southern China! I also saw a lovely Buddhist temple in the mountains with two of my coworkers. We lit incense and prayed with the pilgrims in front of offerings of food. It was enormous and the views were spectacular. Here is a video I took at the temple:
